We had to cancel the upcoming session with Hannes Bajohr for this Wednesday, December 9. Alternatively, we will discuss a recent research article by our own Monika Wulz and Kijan Espahangizi. Further information here.
Corinna Unger's talk moved to Zoom
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, Corinna Unger's (Florence) upcoming presentation has been moved to Zoom. She will speak on Making Science European: The Establishment of the European Science Foundation. Further information about the Zoom meeting can be found here.
Research colloquium
Unfortunately, Onur Erdur's talk, scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, had to be canceled. We will continue according to program on October 14, hosting Agnese Ghezzi (Florence) who will speak on Framing Cultures. Visualization, Photography and Anthropology in Italy between the 19th and 20th Centuries.

Farewell
We thank our departing teaching assistants Joëlle Simmen, Alina Ragoni, Caroline Tanner, and Xenia Jehli for their much appreciated support and wish them all the best for their future endeavors.
Corona virus
In Accordance with recent directives by the school administration, we adjust our teaching. All courses will continue until the end of the semester in adjusted form: Michael Hagner is going to give his lecture digitally, our research colloquium is canceled. Students participating in our seminars are going to be informed by faculty about how the courses will be taught from now on.
